Biography
My name is Emmanuel Marquet Melis Jean Joseph Guillaume. Born in Switzerland to a Belgian mother and an Italian father, I grew up in Italy and moved to the United States at nineteen to pursue my dream of becoming an artist. I earned a scholarship to study digital arts and game design in New York, where I am completing my degree.
I began with clay modeling, drawing, and painting, supported by more than eight years of art history studies from classicism to contemporary art. This foundation still shapes the way I observe, compose, and create.
Over time I expanded into digital art, VFX, cinematography, VR and AR, motion capture, procedural workflows, photogrammetry, coding, and AI. I draw inspiration from directors like Kubrick, Ridley Scott, and Denis Villeneuve, as well as global artistic traditions from Japanese woodblock prints to German Expressionism. My goal is to build immersive worlds where technology and humanity meet.
Speaking multiple languages and collaborating across art, design, and architecture taught me that innovation comes from shared ideas. Today I see myself as both an artist and a tech artist, committed to becoming a leading 3D creator. I want to merge evolving technologies with the human capacity for associative thinking to imagine new worlds and make work that leaves a lasting impact.
