McLaren P1 Restyling
I’m showcasing the full behind-the-scenes process of reimagining the iconic McLaren P1 through a 3D restyling and dynamic animation workflow.

Modeling & Sculpting: Starting in Blender, I meticulously reconstructed the P1’s bodywork, using a combination of subdivision surface modeling and multiresolution sculpting for those ultra-smooth aerodynamic curves. The restyling introduced subtle yet aggressive tweaks to the fenders and rear spoiler to enhance its visual flair.

Texturing & Shading: For materials, I employed a node-based approach in Blender’s Shader Editor, layering PBR textures with custom metallic flakes to achieve that hyper-realistic automotive finish. The final result? A paint job that shifts subtly under different lighting conditions, thanks to a combination of Fresnel and reflection nodes.

Animation & Rendering: Using Blender’s animation toolkit, I created a full 360° showcase, animating the camera path to highlight the car’s new contours. Each frame was rendered in Cycles with a focus on ray-traced reflections and motion blur (+ a big use of Fisheye effect) for a lifelike sense of speed.



Motocross Plate Animation: Bending With Blender
In this latest commission, I teamed up with a cutting-edge company specializing in flexible motocross plates, think plates that bend and flex like a gymnast doing parkour. They basically handed me the creative keys and said, “Go nuts.”
The Technical Playground:

Distortion & Liquid Simulation: Using Blender and the Cycles engine, I dove deep into distortion effects, turning the plate’s flexibility into a visual symphony of fluid, wave-like movements. Imagine metal bending like water... yes, that’s the vibe.

Laser-Infused Visuals: I layered in laser effects to highlight the plate’s edges, using a combination of emission shaders and animated light paths to create a dynamic trailer that feels part sci-fi, part adrenaline rush.
Why It Pops:
The end result is a kinetic showcase where the plate doesn’t just bend; it practically dances through a landscape of fluid animations and laser-etched highlights. All of it was created entirely in Blender, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with procedural animation and a bit of creative mischief.
